Find me the Criminal Defense attorney who only represents morally upright citizens, and you'll have found an attorney who isn't making any money. In America, everyone deserves the right to a defense, be it the scum of the Earth or the genuinely innocent, and if I were voting for a candidate, I'd want to know they were able to do their job, regardless of how popular it is.
