Sexist Media Bias

Why is everyone picking on Sarah Palin? That is the question Michael Silence, who loves Barack Obama like a fat kid loves a treadmill, asks of the media:

"First-term governor," or senator, or whatever, is accepted standard practice in the industry. I've never heard of "half-term." Sure sounds denigrating to me. I've checked around the newsroom and no one has ever heard "half-term" used.

You might call it contemptuous if you like, but a quick use of "the Google" reveals that she isn't the only one to endure such hardships.

Bill Kristol, writing in none other than Time (the magazine accused of bias), wrote refereed to the "half-term Senator (Obama)."

The Irish Examiner also used the term "half-term" in regards to Obama.

Clarence Page also used the term in his op-ed (though it was more favorable towards Obama).

A columnist in Wisconsin also used the term "half-term" towards Obama.
