Meet James Bopp

If there was any doubt over whether or not Rosalind Kurita has joined with the Republicans, her choice in legal representation seals the deal.

The person heading up her legal effort is James Bopp, Jr.; a radical right-wing lawyer from Indiana who is the general counsel for the National Right-to-Life Committee, Special Counsel to the right-wing Focus on the Family, as well as an active member of the Federalist Society and legal aide to the Indiana Republican Party.

Mr. Bopp was also an advisor to Governor Mitt Romney on "family and life issues," and once chastised Fred Thompson for not actively promoting a Federal Marriage Amendment to discriminate against Gays and Lesbians.

Bopp was a member of the GOP Platform Committee this year which advocates for rape victims to be forced to give birth to their rapists' babies.

Bopp, in addition to leading Rosalind Kurita's legal challenge, was also the head of the group, "The Real Truth About Obama," which sought to illegally spend money attacking Barack Obama on the topic of abortion.

This is the person that the supposedly pro-choice Kurita chose as her legal representation? The same guy who represented Tom Delay?!?!
