Liberals Like...Byron Dorgan?

Did I just see that right, did McCain hold up Byron Dorgan as an example of the "liberals" Obama would be getting his ideas from?



Yep, he did. In that much vaunted National Journal ranking that they are so want to use, Dorgan is right next to Joe "The View Inside McCain's Ass Is Nice" Lieberman with a 59-41 liberal-to-conservative rating.

I get that Camp McCain still wants to demean and deride Obama (oh, but they are running a respectful campaign) by drawing him as some uppity jive talking hustler...but damn, couldn't they use a better example than a bunch of old white guys like Byron Dorgan?
