Gunners for Williams

The completely non-partisan and painstakingly neutral, National Rifle Association, has endorsed Mike Williams for the State Senate against Republican Mike Faulk who works late nights trying to rustle up votes.

"I am honored to receive the endorsement of the NRA. I vote with them when they are right -- and they are right on the importance of the Second Amendment," stated Senator Williams, a life-time member of the NRA.

Heidi Keesling, the NRA's Tennessee State Liaison, wrote:

"On behalf of the NRA Political Victory Fund and all NRA members in the State of Tennessee, I am pleased to inform you of your 'A' rating and endorsement for the 2008 General Election for Tennessee State Senate District 4.

"This rating is based on your positive resonses to the NRA-PVF candidate questionnaire and your strong and vocal support of our Right to Keep and Bear Arms.

The NRA actually has only one bias and that is against third parties and independents. They send questionnaires to all candidates, threatening an "F" rating to anyone who doesn't respond, but then they only post ratings for Democrats and Republicans on their website.
So the only bias that they have is the same bias that you have, Sean.
If it makes you like me any better, the local NRA rep hates my guts despite my "A" rating, but I guess a lot of morons hate you too and it proves nothing.
