Turd Blossom Can't Stand The Sunlight
William H. Hobbs elucidates on the topic of political fund raisers, and thinks they are by design supposed to be closed to the press:
Like most political fundraisers, the Statesmen’s Dinner is a private ticketed event. No one without a ticket gets in. It’s standard operating procedure for most every political fundraiser.
Every fund raiser I've been to has been open to the press. Both the Davidson County and the Tennessee Democratic Parties hold annual fund raisers that are open to the press. Granted, some fund raisers that are in private homes are not designed for press coverage, but if it is being held in a convention center, with a plethora of news makers, then it should remain open. But we can understand why William H. Hobbs would be embarrassed to have the most corrosive force in modern American politics come to speak on behalf of the most corrosive and immature state Republican party in this country.

I cannot say how much I appreciate your commentary.
Hobbs is full of shit. He doesn't want the media asking Rove what he thinks of the bullshit that TNGOP has been pulling.
Speaking of Turd Blossom, here's a video of Karl Rove that's funny:
