Ich Bin Ein Obamaliner

Tomorrow is the big day, Obama's speech in Berlin is scheduled for about 7PM which would be about 12PM Central time. Given the time it'll play in the US, and the fact that Obama is no stranger to large crowds (and its hard to capture the difference between a half million Germans and 75K Oregonians in a tight camera shot), I'm not sure there'll be much effect on American politics.

However, what I can predict, is a few overwrought comparisons of Obama to Hitler (I can think of a couple Nashville bloggers who might make that comparison). Why? Well, because Germans went crazy for Hitler (actually, the most support the Nazis ever got was around 44%), and they are going crazy for Obama, so there must be no difference, right?

I'll try to keep a running tally if and as they come.

First off the bat, Larry Johnson at NoLogicUSA. But never fear, Larry updates to clarify that he doesn't think Obama is on par with Hitler...he's not good enough for that. "I do not believe Barack is the reincarnation of Hitler. He is not that smart. Hitler was a sick visionary and a twisted psychopath. Barack is bereft of vision and is not a psychopath. Mein Kampf, Hitler’s literary “achievement” is in a completely different category than anything Barack has written."
