Take A Chance
Mark Warner on Barack Obama in Bristol, "seven years ago y'all didn't know me too well, and I asked you to take a chance, and you took that chance and we moved Virginia forward. Now I'm asking you to take the time to listen to Barack Obama and give him a chance."*
*rough quote
Update:
Question: "Gov. Kaine and our legislature worked hard on mental health laws, much of which is going to greatly impact returning veterans. I'd ask you to speak on your mental health plans on our veterans and citizens"
Obama: Was chairman of health care committee in State Legislature. If you get a broken leg, your plan will cover it; if you have severe depression, sometimes more debilitating, you probably won't get coverage.
Require health insurance companies to cover these diseases/medical problems. There are already costs associated with mental illness being untreated, such as homeless problems.
One of the signature injuries of the Iraq War is PTSD and brain injuries...more suicides in our military than any time on record this year. Make sure that every single discharged soldier is screened before discharge, and are provided mental health treatment they need...zero tolerance for homeless vets when President.
Update II:
Question: Can you stop the trend of America shooting people?
Obama: We have real enemies in this world, and my first and most solemn job is to protect this country. I will not hesitate to strike against those seeking to do us harm. I have a sacred trust not to send men and women into battle unless its absolutely necessary to protect our country.

Not to downplay, but when you use a quote like "most sucides recorded", when did we start keeping track of that data. Don't know the answer, just curious.
26 years it appears.
