Racist? No, Can't Be

William Howard Hobbs is apoplectic that a woman who tried to block black members of the Thomas Jefferson family from an annual reunion, could be construed as a racist after jumping from Hillary to McCain.

Paula's reasoning is that if you "look vary narrowly at the issues" Hillary is closer to Obama; but in terms of "ideology" she is much closer to John McCain. Whatever the hell that means, I don't know, but there you have it.

Of course Fox News (in their fair-and-balanced glory) doesn't mention the reason WHY people are saying that Mrs. Abeles might have racist tendencies...they simply want to leave the impression that everyone who doesn't like Obama is going to be considered a racist, in order to gin up racial resentment in favor of the GOP candidate.
