A Night of Contrasts

I have to say, watching tonight's speeches between Barack Obama and John McCain, showed what a contrast we have in candidates. To be honest, the only word I can think to describe McCain's speech was cringe-worthy. Every time he said "that's not change you can believe in" and smiled, I couldn't help but chuckle a bit. I guess the smart thing to do would be to pretend as if McCain is a good speaker to boost expectations, but I'm not that good a liar.

Obama's speech, in my opinion, was pretty inspiring, if not exactly new...it didn't matter though, there were tears in the eyes of many of the Obama supporters gathered to watch his victory speech. Its been a long time coming, and we are glad to have been a part of this historic victory.

As for Hillary...umm....sigh
