Tuke Wins!
The KnoxViews straw poll which the campaign is now touting as a sign of organizational strength:
In the first organizing test of the primary campaign, Tuke took an immediate and commanding lead in the Knoxville Views Poll posted on Wednesday. The Tuke campaign is very encouraged by the results since his primary challenger is from Knox County, and served as the Knox County Clerk for 20 years. The results show that Tuke has far more organization than many political onlookers assume, and that Knox County is very much "in play" for Tuke in the August primary.
Heh, well, I'm not really sure that it means all that much...I'd rank it on the "meaningful" scale with Hillary's wins in Michigan and Florida.
The candidate also touts his meeting with former Governor Ned McWherter, "Tuke met with Governor McWherter in West Tennessee this week....Both left the meeting feeling energized about how the Tuke v. Alexander match-up is coming together and they agreed that it's time to 'Take the Hill' on Election Day!"
Both Ned and his son Mike McWherter have donated to the Tuke and Padgett campaigns to the tune of $1000 each.

Yeah, ask Ron Paul how well internet poll spamming translates to electoral success :)
Good point, jon.
Though I was not a Ron Paul supporter by any means, his internet presence did him more harm than good.
His people were rude, basically uninformed, and generally little more than annoying.
His internet campaign became the victim of his supporters.
We see this phenomenon with Hillary's campaign as well.
What a circus, huh? :)
