Former Klan Members for Obama
I'm not the biggest fan of Robert Byrd in the world, while I understand people grew up in different times, I think being a high ranking member of the Ku Klux Klan is inexcusable...but if there was ever a time for his past to show itself, this election would be it:
"Barack Obama is a noble-hearted patriot and humble Christian, and he has my full faith and support," [Senator Robert] Byrd says.
He said he has "no intention of involving myself in the Democratic campaign for President in the midst of West Virginia's primary election. But the stakes this November could not be higher."
Let the VP rumors begin...

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he endorsed Obama, but would it have killed him to endorse, say, a week ago?
Possibly. He's old and you never know what's going to push him over the edge.
A Klan leader endorsing Obama. That's more devastating than the Hamas & Hezbollah endorsements.
