Department of Bad Movie Analogies
Congressman Cohen attempted to surgically remove his foot from his mouth after going on a local Fox affiliate where he said in reference to Sen. Clinton, "Glenn Close should have just stayed in the tub." Over at Egalia's house, Rep. Cohen left a comment apologizing for his remark:
I sincerely apologize for the comments I made about Senator Clinton's campaign. I have great respect for Senator Clinton as a US Senator. She has waged an historic campaign which has done much to break the glass ceiling. My comments obviously do not reflect the sentiments of Senator Obama or the Obama campaign. Nor do they reflect my opinion of Senator Clinton whom I have known for years and admire. My hope is that our party will come together to work to defeat John McCain.
While I certainly think Obama is going to be the nominee, as he has been able to win a key demographic during this primary....voters; I don't think it helps to go around comparing Clinton to psycho women in movies.
In response, the Clinton folks oughta start making their own movie analogies, such as Neo in the Matrix:
Also, I have to give Terry McCaulife props for tugging at the heart strings of Bills fan Tim Russert on Meet the Press, where he invoked the 1993 wild card game between the Houston Oilers and Buffalo Bills...Buffalo was down 35-3 in the first few minutes of the Third Quarter and they came back to win 41-38. I remember watching that game, thinking there was no way in hell they could win, but being amazed win they did (my Uncle was at the game during the first half, and will forever be kicking himself for leaving early and being reduced to listening to the greatest comeback in football history on a car radio).
I also remember the Music City Forward Lateral (I believe you people refer to it as some sort of Miracle), and as such, as a Bills fan, there is a small part of me that understands the mentality of the Clinton campaign and their supporters.

I remember the Bills v Oilers game. The Bills didn't have their starting QB as I recall. There is, and was, no reason for Hillary to get out before W. Virginia and Kentucky. She'll look better going out after a couple of wins.
It was a lateral. Not a forward lateral, just a lateral. I guess you can understand Hillary supporters then, neither of you can accept that you lost fair and square!
