Any Rooms at the Bellevue Inn?

It appears as if Lanny Davis and Geraldine Ferraro are in a competition for who is The Most Delusional Clinton Supporter award. Via Mike Allen, Lanny Davis gives four ways in which Obama "couldn't resist" offending Clintonistas. The first two involve the Obama campaign not allowing the Clinton campaign to drive the media narrative after her wins in West Virginia and Kentucky. The third:

“3. Couldn't resist waiting to clinch majority to announce Jim Johnson as VP search committee head -- the first candidate in my memory ever to do so while his chief opponent still fighting for nomination -- and winning in last primary in crucial border state by 36 points (Kentucky). What's the rush? The Senator wouldn't confirm or deny the leak. That makes many Clinton supporters feel uneasy about the Senator.

Who announced Jim Johnson as the head of the VP search committee? As Lanny Davis points out, this hasn't been confirmed by the campaign, and it wasn't issued in a press release. Should his campaign really just stop doing anything until Hillary decides its over, simply to fuel their egos?

And then the cherry on top:

“4. Couldn't resist listing Bill Richardson as under consideration for veep -- the one Red Flag name that infuriates even moderate Clinton supporters the most -- not because he chose to endorse Sen. Obama, but the way he did it, i.e., his inability to avoid negative comments on Sen. Clinton while doing so -- another person who sometimes can't resist the temptation of not being gracious when he should be, a great disappointment to many of his former close friends from the Clinton camp and which will not be forgotten.”

First off, when did Obama list potential VP picks? I must've missed this, but its hard to imagine, as that would be pretty big news. Now, there has been media speculation about Richardson, and I guess considering Davis and other delusional Clintonites think Obama somehow is the puppet-master of the corporate media, maybe he feels the Senator from Illinois told the press to ruminate about Richardson. But seriously, even considering Richardson is a slight to Clinton supporters? Really? The only people I've seen complain about Bill Richardson are Clinton's closest lap-dogs like Carville and Lanny.

I think Lanny Davis should've just gone ahead and listed number 5..."Obama couldn't resist running for President and (potentially) winning the nomination." This is, after all, the greatest sin in the eyes of people like Lanny Davis, though they can't (or won't) just come out and say it.
