The $5 Primary

Hillary Clinton's website is now asking that supporters donate anything, even suggesting five dollars. While some might wonder what the efficacy of a five dollar donation is...I think it probably has less to do with getting money, and more to do with strengthening her hand going into the future. Because if people give $5, then she now has them added into a fundraising list...a list that would be valuable to sell (to pay off the debt) to either the party or other candidates. It would also strengthen her hand should she decide that the Vice Presidency appeals to her.
