Obama Still Out of Touch

The Page is reporting that newly elected Congressman, Andre Carson, has endorsed Sen. Barack Obama for President.

In a statement, Hillary Clinton said, "this is just further proof that Barack Hussein Obama is out of touch with mainstream America. Rep. Carson is an Allah worshiper, and those here in my part of the country don't take kindly to those kinda people. We worship Jesus, shoot guns, and throw back whiskey...does Carson drink? No, because his false god forbids it. Welcome to America Obama, lemme show you around some time."

Update:

While Hillary has KStreet, Obama has E-Street. Bruce Springsteen has endorsed Obama, in a letter he said:

At the moment, critics have tried to diminish Senator Obama through the exaggeration of certain of his comments and relationships. While these matters are worthy of some discussion, they have been ripped out of the context and fabric of the man’s life and vision, so well described in his excellent book, Dreams of My Father, often in order to distract us from discussing the real issues: war and peace, the fight for economic and racial justice, reaffirming our Constitution, and the protection and enhancement of our environment.

Now, I've never understood the fascination of Springsteen. I think he sings like Jack Bauer talks, but all the same...word from Hillary, "Pffft, everyone knows Springsteen is a washed up elitist HACK! The real voice of the common man is a duet between Celine Dion and Elton John."

Would you please indicate the original source for your quotes from Hillary? You use quotations but it doesn't sound like her.

Anon,

I think most people who read this blog are smart enough to know what sarcasm is when they see it.

What as elitist remark. I have read your blog and your passion and righteous indignation for everything pure about Obama didn't lead me to believe you would use quotation marks to mislead readers. I thought only the Hillary people did things like that.

Anon,

I don't operate under the assumption that people who read this blog have an IQ of McCain's age.

Its called satire, perhaps you didn't find it funny, in which case you can happily move on. I'm not going to dumb it down for you.

Possibly you too can't recognize sarcasm or satire.

Possible, though its easier when I know the person who's doing it.
