"Did We Hit A Speedbump?" "Nope, Just Jeremiah"

Did Jeremiah Wright throw Obama under the bus? Did Obama throw Jeremiah Wright under the bus? Frankly, I think the analogy is faulty, as its more that they are both swimming in a shark infested ocean (the sharks being the media), while fighting over a one man kayak. I don't think Jeremiah Wright went out to intentionally hurt Sen. Obama, but it seems to have had that effect, so now the two are having an argument that with normal people would be settled person-to-person, but instead must be settled through press conferences and speeches...not the ideal place.



Update: It will be interesting to see if this results in any backlash from the black community. If you watched Rev. Wright at the NAACP dinner, he was received with thunderous applause. I can't imagine this would lose him any super-delegates, but you might be seeing some columns or op-eds from supporters or theologians who are angry at Obama for him forcefully rebuking Jeremiah Wright. Regardless, this controversy has bumped up Wright's speaking fees considerably...maybe he and Mike Huckabee can do some joint speaking engagements.
