Paging Bill Hobbs

The NY Times alleges that McCain's advisers thought he might have been having an affair with a lobbyist. Somehow, I don't think this is the end of this story, but as of right now, its incredibly light on the details.

But it just goes to show...politicians, if you wanna get your freak on with someone other than your wife, don't do it with a lobbyist because that will be a way for the media to justify breaking their code of silence on the matter.

Now, the McCain camp says that he's never done favors for special interests or lobbyists...bull. One of the reasons McCain adopted the whole straight-talk persona and became best buds with the media is because he was embroiled in the Keating Five scandal, whereby members of Congress (ironically, mostly Democrats even though Keating was a right-winger) did favors for a man whose shoddy business practices defrauded lil' ol' women out of their life savings.
